Holywell

Nathan Pyle

Nathan Pyle works at St John's, he DJ's at the Purple Turtle and now wants to represent Holywell on the city council. He is a strong local campaigner who grew up in Oxford. He is a committed environmentalist and will be a strong voice for students and residents alike.

"Nathan is campaigning on the crucial issues at this election. He stands against intimidation of Oxford researchers and for a radical environmental agenda," said St Catz graduate student Cllr Richard Huzzey.

Nathan is well aware of the issues affecting students in particular. "I meet students every working day," he says. "I work at St John's College and I DJ for loads of students at the purple turtle." Nathan supports the right of students and academics to work without fear. "I am proud that Oxford Liberal Democrats stood up for people conducting life-saving medical research," says Nathan.

Nathan is passionate about green issues. "The climate crisis is the biggest challenge we face. Oxford Liberal Democrats have understood this. They have doubled recycling and invested in renewable energy. Labour and the Green Party have opposed these measures."
